VIDEO - McDonald's Hong Kong launched a CNY Augmented Reality Mobile app

It’s time for Chinese New Year and many companies are also launching special campaign for that big festival in Hong Kong recently. And McDonald's is one of it. They got a special hamburger during the Chinese New Year -  in order to promote it, they have launched an mobile Augmented Reality Campaign.

There are 2 parts in the mobile app.

1 – shake the application, this random shaker will produce different lucky greeting combination, in the format of traditional Chinese “Fai Chung”. And you can share and upload to facebook.

2 – the AR part. Open the scanner, let the camera focus to the McDonald’s TVC or the box of the new hamburger. Then the Hong Kong famous celebrities will come out and greet to you.

The AR part is produced by Total Immersoin partner – Leovation in Hong Kong
