Video Release of Orange Christmas Dance - Augmented Reality Street Marketing Event

To celebrate the festive season, Orange has developed a modern, digital, 360° Christmas fairytale surrounding the magic of its latest innovations, with the new TV generation in mind. Launched on 24 November, this extremely powerful media tool will reach 95% of over-15s, on average more than 20 times.  The “Christmas as never been seen before" advertising campaign will begin on TV with a 40” short film, and will then be followed up with radio, print and digital formats. The film invites viewers to log on to to find out more about this fabulous Orange Christmas.

The very first Augmented Reality campaign in several public places in France!

From 28th November until 4th December, travelers and commuters in Gare du Nord train station, underground station Auber RER in Paris and train station Saint-Charles in Marseille were conveyed to an exclusive Augmented Reality experience, to become, for just a fraction of  pre-Christmas time, dancers of a  “Christmas Choreography”. A sure way to get in the Christmas spirit!  


A festive original and sharing twinkle time!

In each meeting spots, three hosts welcomed winter travelers to a circular stage and a large screen. With amazement, they will be invited by the virtual characters of the Orange campaign "Christmas as never seen before” (dwarf, fairy, Santa Claus and the three Wise Men) popping up on the screen to join an Augmented Reality dance. By positioning themselves on the stage, they became actors of "The Christmas Choreography" and improvised onto the festivity dance together with the animated characters.

Christmas being a time of sharing, specific kiosks were displayed to publish the choreography videos on social networks, providing yet an another chance to live and re-live this unexpected experience and to create a real-life virtuality.
